Rebecca Hind was certainly inspired by the OneOak project but there was no fire at the felling, except the fire we lit to heat up hot chocolate for the 400 freezing guests!

Did Rebecca Hind`s involvement with fire at the felling of One Oak perhaps inspire her magnificent "Scintilla" work exhibited in Christ Church, Spitalfields ?
Her central Tryptic behind the High Altar remains on exhibition into January 2011. So thought -provoking; so moving; and its execution is Masterful.

Quite a task when you think how muddy it was and how narrow and twisty the path was.
My class and I have had such an amazing experience being part of this project, we have learnt so much and are very keen to follow the journey of 'their tree'.
I hadn't really thought of the space left behind, waiting for the carefully tended acorns.............

Thanks to all at Stonesfield Primary for your fantastic contributions to the project. The children were fantastic and coped marvellously with the weather. We look forward to working more with you all in the project.

I really enjoyed debating whether the tree should be cut down or not.
I was on the side For,but i actually didn't want the tree to be cut down so after the debate we got too choose which side we wanted to go on,I picked the opposite side to For I picked against.
It was great fun debating and also very funny.:)
