OneOak is an education project of the Sylva Foundation. We aim to reconnect people with the concept of growing trees for wood, and of using wood, by following the life story of one oak tree.
We hope to increase understanding of sustainable forestry by working directly with school children and families, and via this website, at local events and through local and national media. |

In January 2010 the 160 year old oak tree was felled. It had been grown in a plantation on the Blenheim Palace estate in Oxfordshire. |
