We have been working closely with the Silvanus Trust in South West England to develop a regional myForest Service.  The concept is that regional NGO partners will administer myForest locally and support woodland owners.

We hope to take this forward with other regional partners across Britain during 2010.

  1. I am using My Forest as part of our project in the south west and we are linked to Silvanus . The project called Working our Woodlands is based around the Blackdown Hills an East Devon area . As I am coordinating the project it has been very usefull
to me to be able to map and plan woodlands out of the public eye , untill the owners are more familier with the concept. However it would be nice to keep woodland
clusters in seperate files as you go to over view the map zooms back to show all icons !And it wouyld be nice to view seperate Clusters . John.

  2. Since you have made the agents site to adapt to woodland clusters it has made my life a lot easer , we can now work with a pacific group of woodlands and see their relation on the map . We in the Working our Woodlands project here in the south west are pioneering a way to get the Woodland Plan grant from the FC for woods under 7 acres by clustering 2 or more together to create a lager wood .I will keep you posted as to how we get on .
